Yes. By default, every memory is stored on your device. Nothing is sold, mined, or shown to advertisers. iCloud backup is encrypted and entirely optional — turn it off and your memories never leave your phone.

What does Pro unlock that Free doesn't? +

Unlimited memories, unlimited AI‑drafted letters, the full Time Capsule (ages 5, 10, 13, 18, 21), Pro memory books, PDF export, and encrypted iCloud backup. Free gives you 30 memories per child to try it.

Will my child actually see the letters? +

Yes. Choose a future date and seal it. The letter remains locked until that exact day — their 5th birthday, graduation morning, their wedding. You decide.
